Our admissions policy is designed to be clear, comprehensive and fair. We welcome children and staff from all ethnic origins, religious backgrounds, gender and those who may have special needs. We do however reserve the right to refuse entry or placement if we believe this will be detrimental to the care and wellbeing of your child, or the children in our care.

If demand for places exceeds capacity we use the following Local Authority guidelines to admit children. Consideration is given to:

• The distance between the child’s home and school, measured in a straight line
• A child who already has a brother or sister currently in the nursery
